Breaking Dawn Anyone?

I know... I am a complete nerd for saying this but I absoluetely love to read! My friend introduced me to the Twilight series and i am completely in love! I cannot wait to read Breaking Dawn! I will post a review once I have finished it :)

Sorry!

I am so sorry for not posting... I was at cheerleading practice when i was getting spotted on some tumbling and my spotter, didn't spot my pass because she thought I wasn't going to throw it? Well I ended up having to leave practice with ice and go to the ER for X-rays because they thought I cracked a rib. Good News! I didn't! But I had bruised kidneys, ribs, the ligaments in between my ribs, and the muscles in my back were bruised and pulled. So I couldn't really move that much... But I'm back in almost full working order! :)

A Blank Canvas

So as I was mentally putting together my back to school shopping list ( I know kinda early..) but I was thinking how I really need to get a white oxford button up shirt. I classic staple I strongly believe everyone should own. There are so many ways to wear it! Dress it up with a fedora, switch up the classic boarding school look with a tie worn as a belt or headband, punk it up with a rock and roll t-shirt underneath...The possibilities are endless!!

P.S. I know your probably thinking is she serious with Hollister right now...but in truth thats the only picture online i could find.

The Name....

Now I know that generally most people opt for Spanish when signing up for foreign languages for school. However I chose to study french for several reasons, those being:
1) I am an obsessive Francophile
2) Everyone older then me hated spanish
3) I wanted to be different
4) French is just a beautiful language.

So last year we studied plays and la vadette is the star of the show and for whatever reason it just stuck with me. So in case you were wondering what the title meant...there it is :)

Stars and Stripes Forever

In the spirit of the Fourth of July, I can't help but want to dress up for all of those picnics. This year instead of just a boring red or navy shirt... I'm thinking maybe adding in a fun spangled scarf as a headband. How are you showing your spirit for the holiday?
